MEET CARINDA (BUSY AF NUTRITION FOUNDER) 

Busy AF Nutrition was founded by an accredited Nutritional Counsellor (Carinda) who is not only busy AF herself, but also deeply understands the science and psychology behind nutrition.

Tired of being baffled by the BS she was seeing online and hearing crazy diet horror stories from clients she met in her nutrition practice, she set out to create a guide that was true to her values; a guide for busy people that was easy, affordable, accessible to anyone anywhere, and FLEXIBLE! 

Having had success with this exact method with countless clients in her practice, she decided to move it online so it wasn’t restricted to those she could meet face-to-face.

Oh, and you’re in good company too with Carinda having her own weight loss journey (full of plenty of ups and downs and struggles and wins), losing over 20kg of body fat while living (and enjoying) a busy AF life. 

And that journey is one Carinda has never forgotten, and it’s shaped what Busy AF Nutrition is today – realistic, flexible, and full of advice and support that understands you have goals, but also knows any plan needs to work within your lifestyle.

So, what's the actual method?

The biggest problem we see people hit when trying to lose weight? Signing up for a plan that LITERALLY does not fit their life. AT ALL.

One where every meal is laid out. Why does this not work for everyone? ⁠Because on top of the change you’re making to your mindset, you now have to cook new meals by following a recipe and buy tonnes of unfamiliar ingredients you have never cooked with before. *Sigh*. 

You’re busy AF already and you don’t want to spend double the time in the kitchen (or supermarket) than you normally would. And you definitely don’t want to be cooking twice for yourself and then your family, ’cause they don’t want to eat that raw superfood kale and bean bowl you’ve been ‘told’ you have to eat tonight. #ew. 

So we made a different solution…

OUR SOLUTION 

For the day (and each meal) we lay out suggested SERVINGS of foods. For example, your lunch may have an allocation of 3 grains, 2 meats, 1 fat, and 1 dairy. 

You then fill these allocation with what you want. We give you a guide with common foods to show exactly what a SERVING is. E.G: 1 grain = 1 slice of bread.

And SUCCESS!! You can still eat ‘normal’ meals, just in different portions. ⁠

We even have 5 different levels so you choose one right for YOU! (with clear support to do so).

Family eating spaghetti for dinner? Guess what? SO CAN YOU! Just with the right amount of pasta, protein, and probably a big added serve of veggies.

We donate money to the charity Hands Across the Water, a charity originally established to support children in Thailand left without parents following the tsunami of 2004 that now provides a life of choice to hundreds of orphaned children in Thailand – providing them with homes, education, food, medicine and love.

In 2019, Carinda rode over 500km across Thailand to raise funds for this charity, and continues to support the vital cause through proceeds from the sale of The Busy AF Blueprint.
